Tampa Power Squadron – Who We Are

The Tampa Power Squadron is a member of District 22 in the United States Power Squadrons®.

The United States Power Squadrons® (USPS), organized in 1914, is the largest private boating organization in the world.

The symbol of the USPS® is a triangle whose three sides represent the three main aspects of USPS®:

The Tampa Power Squadron (TPS) was founded in 1947. We are totally a volunteer organization. Our teaching efforts are for all members and include the Basic Boating classes for the public and advanced marine courses for members.
